Beliefs

The purpose of this church shall be an extension of the Kingdom of God, that Kingdom of which Jesus spoke when He taught us to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” Its extension shall be advanced by:

  • Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Strengthening and promoting Christian faith.

  • Teaching the Bible.

  • Praying faithfully for the fulfillment of the Scriptures.

Ten Core Beliefs

We believe that: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen 1:1

We believe that: Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. 2Ti 3:16

We believe that: that which is conceived in her (Mary) is of the Holy Spirit. Mat 1:20

We believe that: the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;  Luke 24:46

We believe that: all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; Rom 3:23

We believe that: he (Jesus) is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. 1Jn 2:2  and that: in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Act 4:12

We believe that: this Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye beheld him going into heaven.  Act 1:11

We believe that: when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. Joh 16:13

We believe that: to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. 1Co 12:7

We believe that: in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:52
